MEF Newsletter---January 2008 ...............We hope all of you had a Beautiful Holiday Season................ Welcome to 2008!!! We had the wildest State of the Planet night ever on January 4th. Hurricane winds, six inches of rain, flooding, closed bridges, trees and power lines down…all kept many of our loyal students from attending. Luckily we’ll have the Yearly Forecast available by email next week! The 50 hearty, brave, or nearby Michael students that attended had a good time and asked some powerful questions. Michael was in good form and ready to discuss the whirlwind of Artisan energy the year was starting with (you think?) and its eventual progression to King. We had candles nearby and went home to a house with no heat or power till the next afternoon. What a wonderful time for family bonding! Oh, by the way, I’ve been channeling the pet column series….the last of which appears below. Some students thought the pets were part of the Thoughts from Thatcher, and he gently corrected them. Too much gravitas in that Warrior/Scholar for pet channeling. The month leaps into the 5th chakra right away, the chakra ruled by the intellectual center. On that date, we have a nexus and we shift towards integrating your plans with the plans of others. This is the movement into the 6th chakra. Expect to consult mentors and if you are old or wise enough, to be consulted as well. The month ends with the energy shifting into the 7th chakra, the higher emotional center.... Living in a country surrounded by mainly Young and Mature Souls who don't understand or believe in reincarnation and specifically self-engineered life situations is very limiting--even more so when most of my relatives seem to be Baby Soul Baptists (though I realize that in another time I went/am going through the same stages of growth). I love studying past lives and relating them to the present and projecting/planning for future lessons to come. As a warrior who has of necessity had mostly male lives, it is strange but enlightening to look at female lives where I had lots of kids and a husband---not easy to relate to, though. It's really cool to find the answers to bizarre situations that just seemed impossible to understand---what had been going on and why? (especially like the racehorse who winked at me like Mr. Ed and then won the race at 40 to 1 odds. Nice to have old friends in the right places!)---and I love hanging out with other Michael people and swapping stories and renewing past relationships. The energies are great and make life so much more meaningful and exciting. I can't thank you all enough for your company and Michael for their teachings. I love it! I missed last month’s article due to my one month sabbatical for college finals, but I’ve found that the break from writing created more stagnation than refreshment as one might speculate. I have found that I have a proclivity toward dialogue as opposed to monologue, especially recently; discussion stimulates thought and regulates theme, so it is generally much easier to articulate and posit one’s postulations, even though in the current format I am perpetually in the foreground, or metaphorical spotlight. Essentially, I feel the need to be challenged and resisted because lively discourse between individuals is more fecund than a one man show, where one listlessly flaunts their erudite capacity, ever in lethargic repose. No, rather than submit to my own affinity for narcissism, I’d rather foray into something more interactive.Having said that (brevity is obviously not my strong point), I would be delighted to receive e-mails from anyone who feels compelled to bring up a topic of discussion or issue, ask me a question, or even give me advice of some kind. I realize that the things I write can be rather dry and probably grievously boring or incomprehensible to some, but this is as much a practice for me as it is a novelty for you. I also realize that I’ve wittingly escaped writing anything of substance by switching the roles of subject and object (clever, right?), maybe next time I’ll go as far as to actually write about something non-abstract in nature. For now, however, a happy new year is all you get. She is very dignified and let me know that she has overcome much adversity and many lifetimes to do the unique work she now engages in. Even having been de-clawed before Marzie and she found each other, she self-reliantly hunts down her own meals and is proud of her predatory nature. Nevertheless, she understands humans very well, and when she sleeps travels the bardo (that place between the physical plane and the astral plane) to lead lost souls to the light. If people die suddenly or violently (say in war or a car accident) they can have a hard time realizing they are deceased and meander lost in the bardo….some become ghosts. Many people, particularly those who die as children, will follow a pretty calico kitty to find their way to the astral plane.
