March 2008 Monthly Forecast

Summary of the Month

Wow, the month jumps of with a huge leap forward as we start the month in a nexus.* The nexus actually starts mid-day on the 29^th and lasts until late in the day on the 3^rd. This is the longest nexus in several years but only one of three long nexuses this year, the others being in mid-June and right before Election Day in November.

There is also a nexus on the 16^th this month which shifts the energy into a more local, grounded space. The Sun is also conjunct with Uranus on the 8^th, an annual event. But, really, these momentous pivotal points are all about King energy. This is the first King year since 1986 (the first year of the last 21 year cycle). So expect great changes to emerge, starting now.

March Focal Points

The nexus we have at the beginning of the month introduces King Energy into 2008. The atmosphere will become decidedly more focused and decisive; more linear and systematic. It will enable us to address root causes, not just symptoms.

We will be able to make massive shifts in direction with less resistance than we have seen in years.

We have also entered a minority branch of parallels in the last few weeks; with 12% of parallel universes branching off in this more adventurous direction. And yes, you exist in both sets. The main trunk of parallels is more conservative, lower frequency and more traditional than where we are now. In that set of parallels for example, Hillary Clinton is squaring off against Mike Huckabee in the political arena right now.

Here, in the minority parallels, we are in a higher frequency. There will be more change and it will be more liberal. It will be a higher level, more mature energy than exists in the Earth’s main trunk. This branch will last from 32 months to 7 years and then re-integrate in large part back to the main trunk.

So what do you do with this energy? Why, you take bigger risks. You end up doing things that are more exotic. You elect Obama President (in all likelihood). And he runs against a former Vietnam POW. Each candidate represents minority positions within their own party, to the frustration of the mainstreamers. Not to worry, the mainstreamers are doing just fine in the main trunk while Obama and McCain are headed home there. Here, you could elect up to 63 Democratic senators and have control of Congress for at least 2 years. You learn to play a musical instrument or learn skydiving or take up Hindu poetry. A beagle won the Westminster Dog Show for the first time in 69 years in this set of parallels. The NY Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The things you do in this parallel will be more eccentric than in the main trunk of parallels and you will get less pushback on whatever you do.

This will make living in America feel a little more like living in Europe. Government and media will be more relaxed about political sex scandals, more quarrelsome on other issues. There is more freedom and openness. It is also very intense emotionally; gossipy, buzzy, and more fervent. For older souls, this is a mixed blessing as it will be more fun and adventurous, but also easier to get unbalanced and tired. That is the energy we find ourselves in as the King Energy infusion begins.

King energy brings you courage. It enables you to take control of your life and is profoundly empowering. The Artisan energy which will still be with us in a diminishing role until mid-June, will still give us creativity. It will allow us to see a multitude of perspectives at one time. But Artisan creativity is rarely focused on the bottom line. It does not address the production issues you need to actually make changes. We move from perspective and ideas to plans, follow through and completion when we add in the King energy.

The economy will slowly begin to improve starting this March. The attitude about the economy will slowly improve as well. March promotes large business and personal income improvement (from more hiring), and provides system innovation energy. A few years from now, you will be able to look back and see a fundamental shift in the world before 2008 and after it. There will be a different playing field, like sports before and after steroids or physics before and after Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein.

The King energy makes it easier to stop blaming and hiding and take personal control. Expect to feel empowered to make important decisions now. This is only going to build throughout the year. The creativity energy will dissipate in June as mastery energy reigns full force. We cannot emphasize this enough. This is a year of personal choice and personal change.

Expect to start by cleaning up clutter, physical, mental and emotional. Kings like tidiness. They do not like impediments, especially sloppy or unnecessary ones. You will clean up that garage or throw out old clothes, clean up your address book and reject outmoded ways of thinking and feeling. King energy wants unimpeded flow to get maximum impact and consequence. You will not have to struggle to accomplish everything alone; Kings are excellent delegators and find the right resources to get the job done.

Expect a tremendous increase in people interested in gardening, farming, and working the soil. Kings are a dominant energy on the planet. They work the soil; they build homes, neighborhoods, towns and countries. So, get your hands into the soil and beautify; Kings demand balance, beauty with success.

Because of the minority parallel energy you will be compelled to do the unexpected. Travel the eccentric path; the resistance to that will never be lower. This is the time and place to address all those “if I ever had the time or courage, I would” lists. This could mean deciding to have a child after years of thinking you never would, learning to play guitar at age fifty, homebodies getting an RV and traveling, experimenting with your sex life, or being the first in your crowd to learn quilting.

You are recognizable on the physical plane as yourself by what you have done in minority parallels in the past. It is what makes you a discreet person, unique on the physical plane. When you do the unusual, take risks; you incorporate those experiences into your core being. And that gives you a more unique fingerprint of energy for the next life. Through channeling, one sees in past life readings that the eccentric component in a past life is very often consequential to the present life. So this kind of change in a minority parallel really lets you define yourself in a more precise way.

Many of you will be drawn to do something of service to others this month. It is a Submission Goal year. If you feel interested in helping the homeless, donating time to a charity, becoming a pet sitter, and reading to retirees; any of these that come from your heart, then go right ahead. The empowerment of March allows you to start something that follows your heart.

The first two weeks of the month, until the 16^th, concern macrocosmic issues: political systems, credit and banking systems, business stimulation, making health care a national priority. Issues that you really have to submit to rather than lead are the focus of this time. Then we have a short nexus which shifts the focus from that macrocosmic view and action to the microcosmic view. Emphasis shifts into the personal, family, or community arenas.

Personal health is one focus. Diets are disappointing this year. Instead, look at eating more raw or steamed foods, more salads, less sugar, less dairy, and a mixture of lean proteins in reasonable amounts. Most people who are run down, tired, overweight, exhausted or stressed are not eating the regimen that their body type wants, so spend some time investigating that through our other materials. 2008 can be a year you learn about, understand, forgive and accept your appearance and habits. The release of the stress around self-loathing will enliven everyone that allows it.

This year is a great year to let go of expectations you have placed on yourself in the past; expectations that you could never meet on a sustained basis. King energy allows acceptance of what the physical plane offers. The universe really doesn’t care how you part your hair, what size you are, or if you bite your nails. You can start as early as March 3^rd to make self-acceptance your new reality. Letting self-hatred and criticism go just raises your frequency and cleans up blockages in your life, so that living in your own skin is easier for you. These internal changes can make any new adventure, risk, or hobby easier to master and enjoy.

Re-evaluation of your self worth is part of the psychological review that you will be experiencing in the second half in March. Am I spending enough time with friends and family; enough time alone? Do I work and play well with others? What is my basic moral structure and is it working for me?

Everyone but the newest Infant Souls will experience this review. You will reject fossilizations that worked years ago, but no longer apply. You may be acting like a dutiful son many years after your parents have passed on, when it would make more sense to become the patriarch of your family. How you fit into all of your relationship structures; from family to friends to society, will be up for review. Your inner King will want you to shed those beliefs about yourself that hold you back, that enslave your head or your heart and make being alive less of a joy.

We spoke in January about how Pragmatists would have a more difficult time making decisions this year. Pragmatists are usually wonderfully decisive, because they rarely decide in the moment. They base their decisions on parameters set in advance. The new King energy changes previous parameters. Our psychological review and reduction of criticism can change previous behaviors. In 2008, if someone cuts you off while driving, you may not show them a finger gesture, you may turn up the radio and sing. Now, when you get hungry late at night, you may pass on the ice cream and eat something healthier. When your father gets angry about something, you may try to appreciate that the world sometimes gives lessons in patience and provides chances to lead by example. This behavioral shifting applies to everyone, but makes life easier for the Pragmatists especially.

This is a truly transformational month in a truly transformational year. Embrace it; it is a great year to fully define what you stand for; to follow your own path more directly than ever before. You do not take this on every year, not even every decade. But, finally, the perfect opportunity is here in March 2008. It starts now.

Issues and Archetypes this month

Stones, Crystals and Colors

Given the fire and earth energy of March, the colors and stones are really simple. Get in touch with a verdant green this month. Fresh grass, new leaves or bulb stalks are good examples of friendly greens. Throw those green vegetables into your diet as well. The second color is a bright yellow, similar to the color of the sun. Use that color to fuel your core being, illuminating all of what has been hidden or stored away. Put in natural spectrum light bulbs where you can, buy that canary yellow blouse, spring is here early. Last is white, as pure a white as you can find. You will want to create a fresh start and white can do that. It is the color of the higher self and the bridge to the astral plane, keeping you in alignment with your true nature.

As far as stones, we suggest green fluorite, green aventurine and citrine this month. Green fluorite will keep your chakras clear and uncorded. It will help you focus on you, rather than on everyone else. King energy is self mastery energy, so let your space be purely you. Green aventurine aids personal pep and power. It helps you access the balanced use of the higher Intellectual and higher Emotional centers. Given the King influx spurring action, green aventurine provides energy to keep you balanced and not over-or-under energized all month. Citrine provides stamina to handle all this higher frequency energy and provide a shield to help you keep a steady pace rather than spin out of control from over exertion.

Politics

Well, the political landscape changes by the 5^th, when it should be obvious that Obama and McCain are the players in the election. The likelihood of Obama winning the primary is now over 90% and McCain is at 98%. The energy of the first two weeks of March sets the national agenda for the election in the fall. We had said it was likely that we would know who the nominees were by the nexus on the 29^th and that is true. Hillary Clinton is a winner in the main trunk of parallels, but not here. The same is true for McCain.

McCain is seriously enrolling Condoleezza Rice for his VP choice and the odds look like 70% or so that she eventually accepts. She is black, female, conservative, believes in the war and would bring along many Bush people. If McCain can convince her that she serves the cause by joining him, she will accept.

Obama is not as close to a VP choice, but there is less than a 10% chance that he would choose Hillary at this point. Likelier candidates are Wesley Clark, or even John Edwards. He will have his short list by May; but, in the meantime, he wants some time in the sun to really establish himself as the nominee.

In the second half of March, we look “down ticket” and focus on what impacts us locally. That matches with the more ordinal energy of the second half of the month as well. Should the Democrats get 60 seats, they would run the country for two years. That is more likely than not in this parallel, which is very liberal. Many reforms will be launched here and merged over the next 5 years into the main trunk of parallels. Expect health care and immigration reforms. Expect campaign financing and financial system reforms. This is the most democratically leaning set of parallels since FDR. The priest that is Senator Obama will not only talk about change, but use King Energy going into 2009 as a manifest for making change actually happen.

Animals

Well, for the first time in quite some time, there really isn’t any major focus on animals this month, more emphasis on planting, the Earth and the Sun. So expect your animals to be in the background more than usual in March. Get them outside and get them back into nature. Spring will arrive earlier than usual, so let your animals find their own balance this month. They will enjoy recharging their batteries and reconnecting with their primal side, they have done a great job supporting their humans over the winter. Give them some space to be active and enjoy them being themselves.

Weather and Travel

This is an earth and fire month, so be prepared for some ground delays or delays caused by power outages and electrical system interruptions. This could vary from stop lights going out to air traffic control being slowed down. Expect some system interruptions in the electrical grid in general, especially in places where the weather will heat up quickly, like the Southwest and Deep South. The strain may be more than they had prepared for. Expect the drought to continue in the Southeast.

Car travel is slower than normal. It will be an early spring in most of the US. The exception is the central US in the north, places like Minnesota, Illinois, the Dakotas, upper Michigan. They will need longer to thaw out from a much colder and snowier than normal February. The earth itself will rumble quite a bit this month. We just don’t see anything truly huge, like an 8.0 but we do see many 6.0 and higher earthquakes. They likely will hit in unusual places as well as the standard ones like Japan and Indonesia. You can expect Turkey, Norway, Greenland, western Russia, Italy and Central Asia to be more active than usual. Volcanoes are also more likely to erupt this month. Since you don’t start to get potentially dangerous tsunamis until you hit 8.0, they won’t be a factor either.

Health and Exercise

The second half of the month is a great time to start that exercise program, eating program or general health improvement. You will be compelled from the King energy to fix the problem, not treat the symptoms this time. This is not a time for fads or doing what everyone else seems to be doing.

You will want to address what you need by getting back to basics and putting together a system to keep you healthy. You will want to simplify your eating, exercise more and get your vitamins and minerals. Think about how you ate and behaved when you were young or when you at your healthiest. That is a great starting point. Look at your body type as well and what it needs. If you need remedial action, take on the simplest measures first. No need this month to get exotic with a temporary fix.

Love and Relationships

This month focuses more on your circle of friends and business relationships than your closest loved ones. Some acquaintances will move closer to you, becoming vital to you. Others will fade into the background. Expect a changing pallette of those around you who make your live interesting. As you change this month, you also shift who is close to you to keep in alignment with your new choices.

Your neighbor could become a card partner. Your golfing buddy may move away. You may establish new business partnerships and add in cohorts to tackle a new and exciting project. You may move to a new neighborhood, and you will establish new circles of friends and places that you routinely go; from quilting buddies to the place you get your fine meats and fresh vegetables. While this can feel disturbing it can also feel exciting. It reflects your need to grasp the higher frequency energy that abounds in this parallel right now.

Business and Money

The key energy in business is reform. The nexus will move the economy towards recovery. This is the bottom of the real estate slowdown. Expect to see in April and May slight upticks in sales and in prices in key markets. That comes from reform that will be enacted before March 15^th. Continued bad news in February will drive some large guarantees on interest rates, foreclosures and migrations away from adjustable rate mortgages. This will happen as fear is now causing a spread between rates being charged and the cost of actual funds. In order to stabilize markets and save whatever hope they have in the November election, the administration will ask for legislation offering a temporary foreclosure freeze, a temporary rate freeze and a migration path away from adjustable loans for many people.

Now long term reform, mandatory proper risk assessment for example, will require a different administration and program, and that will happen. A national debate on the subject is coming. But the first real action, not what has been done so far, will probably happen in March. Now, it is possible that no action will take place. If so, the economy will slow, credit will get tight and a recession will happen that will last until fall. We see that as a 10% chance from here.

Besides credit and real estate, the consumer economy will bottom and start to see a rebound in April. Rebates will not really change macro policy. They won’t get people out of foreclosure or buy more cars; won’t pay for a kid to go to college. Policy shifts can drive some short term, low end spending, boosting consumer companies. This creates money for vacations, for example. After June, Iraq war spending will go down slightly, boosting the economy in the second half of the year.

The other main industry to really take off is health care, starting after the nexus on the 16^th. Health care is a major industry for 2008, likely becoming the best performing sector of the economy by year end. Watch first for companies that specialize in innovation rather than care. The care sector jumps after July.

Last, watch solar power in March. With high gas prices, high energy prices overall and unreliability of power systems, people and companies will seriously examine solar as a system to use to augment the main grid. If an energy bill comes up with solar credits in it, it will pass in March. If not, it will come up in 2009 and pass then.

Impact on Roles or Overleaves

March is back to basics as far as impacts on roles and overleaves. The main emphasis will be on the roles. We will add a small twist. Look at not only your main role but the secondary role that impacts you personally the most. It could be an essence twin role, or from your casting or from your imprinting. The source really isn’t that critical, you know which other role’s characteristics you share the most.

Since we are beginning King energy this month, you will get to look at your complete self and attempt to master it. The emphasis is about understanding you, not just your role. You could even look at more than two roles if they influence you. Besides, it is always helpful to know what is going on around you as well as to you. That said….

Servers

Go have some fun this month Servers. Get a hobby, find something fun and interesting. You have more job satisfaction than any other role and that seems under control. But your personal enrichment side has become a bit stale. It really doesn’t matter what it is, just go out there and find something to stimulate your creativity and provide some balance.

Priests

March is the time for the Priests to work on themselves. They have been out in front of the change engine that has been 2008 so far. They have placed ideals in the mainstream for everyone to see. Now March puts action to those ideals and most everyone will be adapting and changing. So the Priests get some down time to work on their own issues. Expect them to retreat from the main stage and work on personal or health issues they may have postponed for months. Once that is done, expect them to retool their agenda as change is not over for 2008, it has only begun.

Artisans

Artisans will get back to nature this month. They will be spending time with their pets, working in the garden and re-grounding. They have been highlighted since late last year, being pushed into the limelight. That has gone on long enough. Artisans need down time, to think, creative and integrate. They will find their replenishment from the Earth and the powers and forces that come from it. Get in the garden Artisans; go recharge those expended creative batteries.

Sages

This is the first month where we see Sages doing what they will do for most of the year, directing people and information like traffic cops. In many ways, they will look like scholars, providing resources to those that are in massive change. They will know who can help, have access to Internet solutions, have just the right way to express the answer; so that people remain fluid and grounded this month. If they don’t, they will go look it up for you. This has a neutral feel for them personally, as the changes seem to swirl around them. This is okay as they want to avoid the drama, if they can. Sages understand change very well; they are the providers of illumination, which is a function of change. Seek out your Sage friends this month and avoid getting stuck and frustrated.

Scholars

The Scholars will be getting political this month, becoming active rather than observing and taking notes. You may want to join the armed forces or other service, or participate in community based activity. You will need to be involved, joining the PTA or running a precinct or volunteering at a hospice. Your feet need to move out into the community and make a difference. You won’t be that information clearinghouse this month. The Sages will be doing that.

Warriors

Warriors ground others this month. They will need to keep stable to stay in balance. So, instead of your usual runaround, take up a hobby and explore your playful side. The vibration will be much higher than your average Warrior operates at normally in March. Rather than swim in that and become exhausted, we suggest you stay grounded and flexible as change is a given. Don’t become too attached to things that may change again before year end. Be there for your friends and colleagues and have fun while everyone else bounces from pillar to post.

Kings

Well, finally Kings, it is the beginning of your time. We haven’t had a King year since 1986 and they aren’t very common in any case. So everyone now gets to live for a few months what you do every day, try to master yourself and provide solutions that everyone can follow. You will be a magnet this month for all roles, expect to make new followers. Your biggest worry is exhaustion from time to time as you will be “on” and in the midst of things all month. It may end up feeling like you cannot rest even while sleep. Shift your sleeping patterns, hydrate, and remember you are a King, and you were born to lead. Just open your door and get going. By month’s end, you will look like the pied piper, which suits you perfectly anyway.

*Let us refresh everyone on what a nexus is. Within a parallel universe, which is where we are all now, are threads of energy. We call that the tapestry of life. There are hundreds of millions of them, representing all vibrational types, from high frequency, massive change energy, to low frequency, very stable energy. We in our teaching attempt to define and identify many of those threads of energy. Sometimes the threads are heading is different directions, sometimes a portion of the threads come very close together.

When they do, we call that a nexus. The compression of all the threads creates an overarching energy and no two nexuses are alike. But you can access that compressed area with intention on your part. So we try to help identify what the nature of each nexus is and how long it lasts. The close proximity of the threads allows you, the human on Earth, to use the energy more easily, with less stress and fewer unexpected consequences. It is a purer and more intense form of energy.
